Program description
RingerText sends informational, service-related SMS messages for adult recreational hockey teams. Messages may include captain phone verification, roster registration confirmation, game roll calls, attendance reminders, availability reply handling, ringer/substitute invitations, standby messages, opt-out confirmations, and help responses.
Who sends messages
Messages identify RingerText, Laguna Foundry, or the hockey team that invited you. RingerText is operated by Laguna Foundry LLC.
How you opt in
Captains, players, and ringers can opt in by checking an optional SMS consent box. Players and ringers may register without SMS consent, but they are marked inactive for automated roll calls and ringer invitations until they opt in. The consent checkbox is not pre-selected.
Message frequency
Message frequency varies by team schedule, game changes, roster status, and your replies. Typical use may be several messages per game week, with additional messages if you are invited as a ringer or placed on standby.
Costs
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier plan. Consent to receive SMS messages is not a condition of purchasing any unrelated goods or services.
How to opt out
Reply STOP to unsubscribe. You may also use supported opt-out keywords such as STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, OPTOUT, CANCEL, END, QUIT, or REVOKE. After opt-out, you may receive one final confirmation message. We will not intentionally send further RingerText product messages to that number unless you re-opt in.

Reply HELP for help. HELP responses describe RingerText lineup messages and point users to these SMS Terms. Captains can also use the website admin/billing flows for account and team support.
Carrier disclaimer
Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery may depend on carrier networks, phone settings, device availability, and third-party provider availability.
Privacy
We use mobile phone numbers and SMS consent records to provide RingerText messages and maintain opt-in/opt-out compliance. We do not sell mobile opt-in data or share it for third-party marketing. See the Privacy Policy for more detail.
Supported use
RingerText SMS is for adult recreational hockey coordination only. It is not for emergency, medical, youth/guardian, marketing blast, political, debt collection, gambling, or regulated communications.
